Die Spammers!
Those of you who know I used to have a journal will have noticed I have just started from scratch again. I made the fatal error of not installing a security update and then while attempting to delete a spam comment my whole installation got totally screwed up. I think it must be a government conspiracy trying to combat free speech. Well we have Dubya now instead of Tricky Dicky, soon to be replaced by who knows what god-fearing homunculus – but we also got tools now! RSS and Youtube and Linux, oh how that aging fat-cat Gates must anguish over ‘apt-get’ .. Although, with MSN and Yahoo turning their eyes now to web 2.0, and ISPs delegating bandwith priority to ‘preferred’ entities — http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jonathan-rintels/big-medias-common-interes_b_98568.html – there is reason to fear.
Anyhow, my journal is back.
